Jeanne M. Morford, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026.
She was born April 21, 1944 to Robert R. and Lucy A. (Schmidt) Blondin in Dubuque, Iowa.
Jeanne was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was married to Patrick B. Morford, who preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Molly, and brother, Bruce Blondin.
Survivors include her sons, Randy Schmerbach (Joan), Dan Schmerbach (Roxann), Mark Schmerbach (Wanda), and Tim Schmerbach (Wendy); grandchildren, Sara (John), Kate (Jay), Kayla (Brett), Kenny (Jen), Madison (Austin), Sheridan (T.J.), Kylie, and Megan (Marc); great grandchildren, Gavin, Aubrey, Sydney, and Jaxon; and brother, Larry Blondin (Anne).
Jeanne was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith was an important part of her life.
She found joy in traveling, crafting, bowling, bingo, and spending time with her dogs.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 17, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph.
