BUCHANAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 9p.m. Wednesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Toyota passenger vehicle driven by Cory T. Schmidt, 32, St. Joseph, was southbound on the entrance ramp from MO 6 to Interstate 29.
The Toyota rear-ended a 2013 Ford SUV driven by Celso Z. Garcia, 56, St. Joseph. The impact pushed the Ford into the guardrail.
Buchanan County EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic Life Care. Schmidt was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
