Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State split their doubleheader in basketball on Saturday, but Missouri Western won the day off the court. 

The Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State student government associations put together the 'Scratching Out Hunger' Food Drive competition, competing to see which school could gather the most food donations. 

Missouri Western came out on top in the competition gathering 2,386 pounds of food, compared to Northwest who gathered 1,360 pounds of food.  

All donations of either food or money go towards each schools Campus Cupboard.
