Savannah High School has announced Cy Musser as been hired as the next girls basketball coach.&nbsp;

Musser, a graduate of Benton and Missouri Western, previously spent seven seasons as the head boys basketball coach at St. Joseph Central, helping lead the Indians to a Suburban Confrence championship in 2019.&nbsp; Musser has spent the past five seasons as the head coach at Liberty North.

“We are incredibly excited to have Coach Musser lead our girls basketball program. He brings with him an incredible amount of experience and a high basketball IQ. Most importantly he knows what it takes to build a solid program and he truly cares for his athletes," Athletic Director Anthony Hays said in a news release from Savannah.
