Charles James "Jim" Fulcher, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025.

Jim leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn; his son, John; and grand-daughter, Emily; his stepdaughter, Heather Hausman, her husband Marc, and their children, Caylie and Dalton; as well as his sisters, Lynda McCracken (Bill) and Charlotte Sowards (Evan).

He was preceded in death by his father, John Fulcher, his mother, Iona Fulcher, his brother, John Fulcher Jr., and his sister, Kathy Hanks.

A passionate fisherman who found joy in casting lines and sharing stories by the water, Jim was famously uninterested in eating his catch, preferring the thrill of the sport over the meal. His mornings were often spent enjoying breakfast with his "ornery" friends, where his quick wit and infectious laughter filled the room. Jim's love for life and his family was evident in all he did, and his kind spirit will be deeply missed.

Celebration of Life  will be held at Heaton Bowman Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel  on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 am, followed by full Military Honors.  There will be a family visitation Friday, July 11, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the wonderful Freudenthal Hospice team, that took great care of Jim and Marilyn, we are so thankful for all they have done. Make donations at Heaton-Bowman Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Jim’s memory will forever be a blessing to those who had the privilege of knowing him.
