Missouri Western forward Kaili Campbell was named the MIAA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday after her performances this past weekend against Concordia-St. Paul and Rockhurst.
The junior from Loveland, Colorado recorded the second hat trick in school history in the Griffons' 4-1 win over Rockhurst Sunday. She scored three goals in a 9:48 span in the second half, as MWSU had four goals during that stretch. That also broke a school record.
Campbell helped Missouri Western open the season 2-0 at the Stoney Creek Hotel Classic. She played the entire 90 minutes in their 2-1 win over CSP on Friday. She found the back of the net three times on five shots against Rockhurst.
Campbell and the Griffons will be on the road this weekend as they play two NSIC teams. Missouri Western will face Wayne State on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Wayne, Nebraska. Then, they head to Marshall, Minnesota on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. to play Southwest Minnesota State.
