The Saint Joseph Public Library's East Hills Branch will host Oscar winning broadcaster Andrew McCrea June 8th, at 6 PM. To help ring in America's 250th, Mr. McCrea will tell tales of Revolutionary War sites he's seen and featured on his programs.
McCrea's programs, American Countryside and Farming the Countryside, delve into stories about American history and notable Americans, past and present. McCrea is also a farmer and rancher in the northwest Missouri region.
Mr. McCrea can be heard every day on KFEQ. American Countryside airs at 7:55 weekdays, and Farming the Countryside airs Saturday at 7:30, and Sunday at 9:30.
