ANDREW COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Monday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Ron D. Stanton, 55, Amazonia, was eastbound on U.S. 59 just south of Route H four miles south of Fillmore.
The driver lost control on the ice covered road. The SUV traveled off the road and struck an embankment.
Andrew County EMS transported Stanton to Mosaic Life Care. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
