DAVIESS COUNTY—Two Missouri teens were injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Saturday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1995 GMC Sierra driven by a 16-year-old boy from Gallatin was northbound on 260th Street.
The driver failed to negotiate a turn at Sunset Avenue. The pickup traveled off the north side of Sunset Avenue, struck an embankment and traveled into a ditch.
A private vehicle transported a 16-year-old female passenger from Gallatin and a 16-year-old male passenger from Pattonsburg to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The driver was not injured. The passengers were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
