HOLT COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 11:30p.m. Saturday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Ford F350 driven by Matthew Z. Rounds, 42, Darlington, was northbound on MO 113 three miles south of Maitland.
The vehicle began to slide and traveled off the east side of the road. The driver overcorrected and the pickup returned to the road. The truck traveled off the west side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported Rounds and a passenger Melissa R. Lehmer, 50, Darlington, to Mosaic in Maryville. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
