Carol Jean Dymond, 83, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away peacefully Friday, June 6, 2025 at her home. She was born November 15, 1941 in St. Joseph, daughter of Peggy and Chester Hayes. Carol graduated from Lafayette High School and later married Stanley "Jack" Dymond. She loved Country Music. Her and her late husband, Jack enjoyed singing together in her band, Carol Dymond and Country Pride. She worked at Stetson Hats and the AFL-CIO and was a part of the Teamsters Union and served as Union Steward. Carol also spent several years doing embroidery work. While living in Memphis she handled embroidery jobs for several large companies including Realtree Camo and American Quarter Horse Association.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Peggy Hayes-Poolman and Chester Hayes, her husband, Stanley "Jack" Dymond, Jr. in 1987, children, Glenna Dymond, Michael Dymond, and infant daughters, Candy and Bobbie Dymond, and sister, Lulu "Duke" Grossman. Survivors include son, Stanley "Jackie" (Joyce) Dymond III of Gillette, WY, son-in-law, Dean (Melody) Dymond of St. Joseph, grandchildren, Chris Dymond and Stanley "Ray J." Dymond IV, great-grandchildren, Cayden Ray, Gavyn, Emery, Logan and Mykhia Dymond.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Pastor James Kerns, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 Wednesday. The Interment will follow services at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Shriner's Hospital.
