Missoui man injured after pickup crash into creek

HARRISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Monday in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1993 GMC Sierra driven by a 57-year-old Waynesville man was southbound on Route EE eight miles north of New Hampton. The pickup traveled off the west side of the road into a creek. The vehicle struck an embankment and came to rest partially submerged.

Grand River EMS transported the driver to Mosaic Albany. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
