Ray's Green Hills, at Belt and Karnes, is closing. Its final day is May 16th. The store announced the closure Sunday night via social media.
After 50 years of serving the community, the store says rising costs of doing business have forced the closure. The company stated they will retain as much staff as possible as it moves to a single store, 7014 King Hill Avenue, on the south side of Saint Joseph.
The building will be renovated, with businesses stated to be interested in the area. More details are to come on the future of the building.
