Clarence Junior Worley was born February 16, 1935 to Clarence Edward and Hazel (Gilland) Worley.
On March 17, 1953 he and Margaret Ann Cook were united in marriage. From this marriage they had two sons, Paul Worley of Schuyler, Nebraska and Michael Worley of Fairbury, Nebraska, and a daughter, Ramona Lee, who passed at an early age.
Junior drove a dump truck for his dad as a teen and ended up owning his own truck. He also worked for the City of Craig as the water department manager and also as the town marshal.
In 2005 they moved to Fairbury and resided there until the time of his passing on May 31, 2023.
He and Margaret were married 70 years and ended up with six grandchildren, Tara, Ericka, Alicia, Kelly, David, and Mellisa, and 11 great grandchildren plus two great-great grandchildren.
Junior was an avid reader and loved his garden until his eyesight failed. He also liked to work in his basement shop building birdhouses and various other items.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of the home; sons Paul and Mike; daughter-in-law Brenda; many grand and great grandchildren; and brother, Ramon Worley of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, his mother, Hazel, daughter, Ramona Lee, and a sister, Beverly Chastain.
Funeral services: Monday, June 5, 2023, 2:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City, with visitation following the services. Interment: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Missouri.
