St. Joseph police have identified a 40-year-old St. Joseph man as the suspect in wake of the robbery and hit-and-run at Menards Tuesday.

Police identify the suspect as Travis Graham.

Police say the woman, an employee at Menards, who Graham allegedly ran over with his pick-up fleeing the store is being treated at the Mosaic Life Care St. Joseph hospital. Police report the 59-year-old woman suffered serious injuries, but they do not appear to be life-threatening. Officials have not released her name.

The St. Joseph Police Department reports officers responded to a call from Menards early Tuesday afternoon. The store off I-29 reported a man entered the store and stole several items. When an employee attempted to stop him from driving off in a black pick-up, he allegedly ran her over, causing serious injuries.

Graham fled the scene in the pick-up. Officers arrested him later and impounded the truck.
