BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Monday in Buchanan COunty.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Ford Escort driven by Dezstaney C. Felder, 26, St. Joseph, was eastbound on the exit ramp from northbound Interstate 29 to eastbound U.S. 36.
The car began to slide, traveled off the road and struck a sign.
A private vehicle transported Felder to Mosaic Life Care. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
