Brandon “B-Poz” Polsgrove, 49, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
He was born July 6, 1974 in St. Joseph to Gregory and Linda (Campbell) Polsgrove.
He was a firefighter for the St. Joseph Fire Department for 11 years. He was given the nickname “B-Poz” because his dad, who also worked for the department, already had the nickname “Poz.”
Brandon loved fishing, mushroom hunting, and taking care of his house and yard.
He was known for giving the best hugs.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Erma Campbell and Jessie Leon Campbell; and paternal grandmother, Opal M. Polsgrove.
Survivors include his daughters, Caressa Barron and Cheyenne Smith (Justin); two grandchildren, Gunner and Brooklyn Smith; mother, Linda Hankins (Ronald); father, Greg Polsgrove (Diana Queen); brother, Gregory Charles Polsgrove; paternal grandfather, Charles Polsgrove; niece, Miranda Polsgrove; and nephews, Tyler Sisk and Corbin Polsgrove.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Clasbey Center in Savannah, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
