Mary Turner (Danler) was born on January 1, 1944, in Coffeyville, KS. She was the 2nd of 7 children of Florence (Clark) and Ignatious Danler.

She married Marc Turner in 1962. Together, they built a loving and joyous life..

Mary served various communities in the area for 25 years as a dental hygienist, and later as an office assistant. She retired in 2008.

Mary had a fond appreciation for the beauty of flowers and plants. Her home was always adorned with plants of all types and colors. She was an excellent cook, and her recipes will live on in the generations to follow.  She was a classy lady, always dressed fashionably and loved all things related to hair, skin care, and latest fashion.

Mary also loved shopping for antiques, having acquired a treasure of goods over the years. She also enjoyed refurbishing vintage furniture.

She was a prolific cross-stitcher. Many of her finished works became cherished gifts for others. She also loved travelling. Her idea of a trip well taken was any trip that involved visiting family or friends. She and her family also spent 4 years living abroad in Saudi Arabia.

Mary was a lifelong advocate for people who were less fortunate, giving generously to the homeless and other various charitable causes. Above all, her greatest joy was her family.

Mary left this world peacefully on December 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones and amid the same love she gave so freely to her family her entire life.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Danler of Seattle, WA and Lawrence Danler of Winfield, KS.

She is survived by her husband, Marc Turner, of their home in Parkville, MO; two sisters, Theresa Couch of Wichita, KS and Cecilia Andrus of Augusta, KS; two brothers, John Danler of Augusta, KS and Leo Danler of Oxford, KS; four children, Jeffrey Turner and wife Judy, Mound, MN,  Daniel Turner and wife Shereen, Peoria, AZ, Deanna Utz and husband Tony, Gower, MO, and Theresa Doebbeling and husband Dan, Spring Hill, KS; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
