Aneia G. Marriott 56, of DeKalb, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 in a St. Joseph, MO hospital. She was born July 10, 1967 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Dixie and Richard "Dickie" Matthews.
She graduated from DeKalb High School, and worked as the bus driver for the DeKalb and Rushville Schools. She liked her animals, dogs, goats, and chickens, watching the KC Chiefs and Nascar, and driving the kids on the bus.
Aneia was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Marriott of the home, sons, Caleb Marriott of DeKalb, MO, son, Riley (Nikki) Marriott of Jamestown, TN, step son, Jimmy (Amy) Marriott, and step daughter, Jessica Marriott, grandchildren, Sol & Sora Marriott, Lauren, Garrett, & Emma Marriott, and Ashton Clayton, brothers, Brian of Savannah, MO, Chris and Eric Matthews both of St. Joseph, sister, Marlene (Kevin) Koehler of De Kalb, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Westlawn Cemetery, DeKalb, MO.
