DEKALB COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Friday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Lincoln Aviator driven by an 87-year-old Stewartsville woman was southbound on MO 31 approaching U.S. 36 approximately three miles west of Stewartsville.
The driver failed to yield. A westbound 2016 Ford Fusion driven by a 67-year-old Bethany, Illinois man. The car struck the passenger side of the SUV.
DeKalb-Clinton ambulance transported both drivers to Mosaic in St. Joseph. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
