Edward L. Groce III 36, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 in St. Joseph. He was born September 16, 1987 in St. Joseph, son of Sondra and Edward Groce Jr. He was an artist, who enjoyed painting, drawing, and helping people.
Edward was preceded in death by grandmother, Henrietta Groce, grandfathers, Edward Lee Groce Sr., Dennis Melton, and William Pritchett, uncle, Billy Pritchett, and aunt, Ruth Groce.
Survivors include: his parents of Saint Joseph, MO, partner, Kristina Grace, sons, Nicky Groce, Christopher Groce, Mason Groce, and Kaydon Stevenson, daughters, Zoey Groce, Ariel Groce, Alissa Groce, and Journii Miller, sister, April (Roger) Limle, brother, Joshua (Misty) Pritchett, maternal grandmother, Viola Melton of St. Joseph, MO, cousin, David Potts Jr., several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and life long friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Edward Groce III Memorial Fund in care of Rupp Funeral Home.
