Wayne Alan Stout, 73, of Ames, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at his daughter's home in Henderson, NV. He was born March 27, 1951 in Ames, Iowa, son of Helen and Marvin Stout.
Wayne graduated from Winterset Senior High School, class of 1970. He worked many years for Pittsburg Steel and later Composite Technologies, where he retired. Wayne enjoyed going bargain shopping, anywhere he could find a good deal. He also enjoyed playing the slot machines in Las Vegas.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ted and Matt Stout and sister, Susan Stout.
Survivors include: his daughter, Jennifer (Gabe) Lataban of Henderson, NV, brother, Bill (Florie) Stout of Winterset, IA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services and public live stream will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. William Stout, officiating. The Interment will follow services at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
