St. Joseph's downtown signal removal phase four starts Monday.
The public works department will begin removing traffic signals in the downtown area and replacing them with stop signs. The fourth phase will occur at the intersections of Felix Street and 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 10th streets.
Also starting Monday, street crews will remove the signal heads and roll out stop signs from the first three phases of the signal removal study. These signs will be removed on Faraon, Jules, Francis streets from 3rd street to 10th street.
