Class 1 District 15 championship in Pattonsburg - Gilman City 8 St. Joseph Christian 3.
Class 2 District 15 championship in Plattsburg - Plattsburg 4 North Platte 3. The Tigers have won back-to-back district titles.
Class 4 District 15 championship in Excelsior Springs - Excelsior Springs 3 Benton 2. The Cardinals achieved 19 wins this year - the most since 2008.
Class 4 District 16 semifinal in Lathrop - Savannah 13 Lafayette 1. The Savages will face Maryville for the district title tonight at 7 p.m.
Girls’ district soccer
Class 2 District 8 semifinal in Cameron - Maryville 5 Benton 1.
Meanwhile, the Class 1 District 8 championship comes up tonight in Faucett, as Mid-Buchanan faces Bishop LeBlond. The match will start at 6 p.m. This is the third straight season with these teams meeting on the pitch for a district championship.
Kansas, Class 2-1A regional softball in Wathena
Troy beat Riverside in semifinals, 11-2. The Trojans then played undefeated McClouth for the regional championship Wednesday night. McClouth won that game, 2-1.
