CLINTON COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Thursday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by a 17-year-old girl from Excelsior Springs was northbound on U.S. 69 five miles east of Holt.
The driver attempted to make a left turn at Route PP. A southbound 2009 Kia Sorento driven by Carrie L. Range, 36, Independence, struck the passenger side of the Toyota.
EMS transported Range and two passenger identified of Steven L. Slater, 68, Excelsior Springs and Michelle D. Anderson, 61, Independence, to Liberty Hospital. The teen driver was not injured. Slater was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
