Richard Dale Bauman Sr., 73, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
Richard was born on October 25, 1950, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Melvin and Esther (Schoenfelder) Bauman.
He was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day and farmed most of his life.
Richard married Roberta Simpson on December 31, 1970, in St. Joseph, Missouri. She survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Carl Bauman, sister, Loretta Bauman, nephew, John Bauman, niece, Jody Sue Bauman.
Additional survivors include, children, Rick Bauman (Shelly), Katherine Moppin, Samantha Fansher (Brian), Julie Karn (Rodger), Phillip Bauman (Stephanie) and Jonathan Bauman (Jennifer). 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Siblings, sister, Anita Williams (Terry) brothers, Warren Bauman (Shari), Jerry Bauman (Susan) and Keith Bauman (Sharon). Numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena, Kansas.
Visitation: 1:00 P.M. 1 hour prior to service.
Inurnment at a later date.
