A Troy man, identified as Dustin B. Saunders, 32, died in a crash on K7 highway in Atchison County. The crash occurred when the driver of a 2001 Ford F-150 left the roadway, struck a tree, and came to a rest in the east ditch of K7. Saunders, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
