Harold Lee Robinson, 88, of Nortonville, KS passed from this life surrounded by his family on Monday, January 12, 2026 at KU Med.
He was born in Leavenworth, KS to Harry L. and Helen Elizabeth (Martin) Robinson on December 12, 1937. He completed 8th grade at No. #11 grade school and continued on to Winchester High School and graduated class of 1955.
Harold started full time farming when he was in the 8th grade after his dad went to work in town. This started a lifetime of farming and raising Hereford cattle. For a time, he owned and operated a tank wagon service that delivered fuel and oil to local farmers. He also provided custom grain hauling services.
Harold and Joan Yvonne Ellerman were married at Nortonville Christian Church on May 10,1959.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Dan, sister Harriett, his wife Joan, and granddaughter Amanda.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise and Dennis Bixby of Tonganoxie, KS and Denene and Mike Carnes of Banner, KY. One son, Darrin and Deanna Robinson of Nortonville, KS. Four grandchildren, Sarah Ellis, John Robinson, Nehemiah Carnes and Josiah Carnes and one great granddaughter, Sage.
Private family services will be Friday, January 16, 2026 at Oak Hill cemetery, Easton, KS. Memorial donations may be sent to Nortonville Christian Church, Nortonville, KS or Genesis Schools, PO Box 994, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
