A young St. Joseph woman is in stable condition at Mosaic Life Care after being shot and wounded near an entry to the Mark Youndahl Conservation Area late Thursday night.
St. Joseph police report the 21-year-old woman arrived at the hospital emergency room shortly after 11 o’clock in critical condition, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and upper chest.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports the woman is listed as in serious, but stable condition.
Police officers arrived at 32nd and Charles Streets shortly thereafter and secured the crime scene. The investigation continues.
