Larry Dean Todd of St Joseph passed away June 29th peacefully at his home with his family. Larry was born September 22, 1937 in Fillmore, MO to George and Eva Todd, where he was one of eight children. Mother, father along with Siblings Sonny, Bill, Vivian, Francis, Leota and Imo preceded his death. Sister, Nancy Edwards lives in Erie, Kansas. He graduated from Fillmore High School, married Helen Ramsey and had a son, Jeff Todd. Larry spent most of his life in St Joseph MO where he worked at Grey’s manufacturing for over 35 years.
He later married Laurie Todd in 1973 who passed away in 2008. Surviving is son Jeff Todd who lives with his wife, Deanna in North Carolina., Stephen Stockman and his wife Lisa of Morgan Hills, CA and daughter Angela Stockman of St Joseph, MO. He was a proud grandfather of grandchildren, Matthew, Chris, Alyssa, Kalyn, Jenna and great grandson Barrett.
He will be remembered as a loving quiet Father, Grandfather, and friend who loved to hunt, fish, and watch his KC Chiefs and Royals.
Funeral service 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
