HARRISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7a.m. Tuesday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Erica L. Ledesma, 23, Richfield, MN., was southbound on Interstate 35 four miles south of Bethany.
The driver attempted to pass a southbound 2013 Volvo semi driven by Cecil E. Cracraft, 66, Blythedale and began to hydroplane.
The Nissan struck the towed unit of the semi and skidded off the east side of the road.
NTA ambulance transported Ledesma Harrison County Community Hospital. Cracraft was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
