Layne Hull, 52, St. Joseph, Missouri, left this place at midnight on January 7, 2026.
He was a funny, intelligent, talented person who did everything he wanted to (worked at a movie theater, a television station, and a radio station, met the love of his life, Rena) except win a lot of money. Whether singing karaoke, riffing on movies, or making videos, he enjoyed himself thoroughly. He will be sorely missed by many.
Survivors include his siblings, Lance Hull and Kelly Broadus; nieces, Kaleen Broadus and Kristine Broadus; great nieces and nephews, Kyrielle, Jr., and Amaya; cousins, Suzie Modlin (Frank) and Jim Dawkins (Daire); second cousin, Austin Dawkins (Rylan) and their son, Bridger.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lee Hull.
