The Northwest Missouri State men's basketball team earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Central Region, and Northwest will host the regional tournament at Bearcat Arena March 11-14.

Northwest won the MIAA regular season title, and are champions of the MIAA tournament after a 61-53 win over Central Oklahoma in the tournament championship on Sunday in Kansas City.

At 30-2 overall, the Bearcats are hosting the Central Region Tournament for the fifth time since 2017. The No. 1-seeded Bearcats will match up against No. 8 seed Southern Arkansas on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Northwest seeks its fourth straight national championship.
