Shawn P. Coder, 56, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023.
He was born August 17, 1966 in St. Joseph to Gary L. and Margaret (Cunningham) Coder. Shawn was raised in St. Joseph and graduated from Central High School in 1985.
Shawn was a fan of the Chiefs and Royals, and enjoyed going to car shows. He loved spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include siblings, Gary W. Coder and Shannon Hillyard (Greg); nieces and nephews, Kyle, Tyler, Ashton, Chelsea, Christine, Logan and Ripken; other extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Patrick.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 3:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Whispering Pines Cremation Garden at St. Joseph Memorial Park. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
