GRUNDY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Tuesday in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Peterbilt semi driven by Logan T. Brown, 27, Linevill, Iowa, was southbound on U.S. 65 one half mile north of Farmersville.
The semi began to pass another vehicle. As it approached a crest of a hill. The semi's towed unit struck the front left of a northbound 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Darwin L. Vanderlindin, 27, Trenton.
Grundy County EMS transported Vanderlindin for treatment of a minor injury. Brown was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
