Helen Marjorie Hutson, 82, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024.
She was born May 26, 1941 in Maryville, Missouri to Clarence and Bertha (Brown) Hutson. Marjorie grew up in the Stanberry, Missouri, area, graduating from Horace Mann High School. She then attended Missouri Western State University for data processing training.
After her training, Marjorie moved to Phoenix, where she was a claims adjustor for Arizona State Comp until retirement, when she moved to St. Joseph.
She was a strong, loving woman who raised three children by herself.
Marjorie enjoyed watching TV, especially reality TV shows.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Hutson; parents; and brother, Joe Hutson.
Survivors include her children, Sonya Hutson and Stewart Krieger; three grandsons, Taylor Groves, Seth and Dietz Willman; two great-grandchildren; other extended family members and friends; and her two beloved cats, Sassy and Rascal.
