GRUNDY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Friday in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Ford Fusion driven by a 19-year-old Bethany woman was westbound on MO 146 one mile west of Brimson.
The driver attempted to pass a vehicle on a hillcrest. The Ford struck an eastbound 2015 GMC 3500 driven by a 60-year-old Gillman City man head-on.
EMS transported the 19-year-old driver to Wright Memorial Hospital. The truck driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
