ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Thursday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Peterbilt 337 driven by Dennis L. Anderson, 63, Omaha, was eastbound on MO 46 nine miles east of Fairfax.
The truck traveled off the south side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The truck returned to the road, skidded off the north side of the road, struck and embankment and overturned.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported Anderson to Community Hospital in Fairfax. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
