ANDREW COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Friday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Mazda 3 driven by a 21-year-old Fremont, Nebraska, man was northbound on Route M two and one half miles northwest of Union Star. The driver made a left turn in front of a southbound 2021 Hyundai Tucson driven by a 33-year-old St. Joseph man. The Mazda struck the Hyundai.
Grand River EMS transported the Hyundai driver to Mosaic in St. Joseph. There were no other injuries. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
