Motorists traveling through Andrew County should prepare for minor delays. Route C was reduced to one lane on Feb. 4 at County Road 190 for utility work, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The project involves tree clearing for utilities conducted by Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC, which is operating under a permit issued by MoDOT.
Crews will be active weekdays during daylight hours. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct alternating directions of traffic through the single open lane. This schedule is expected to remain in place through Feb. 13.
MoDOT officials urge all drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and be mindful of workers present on the roadway. All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
