GRUNDY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Saturday in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Chevy pickup driven by Desmond A. Calton, 19, Trenton, was southbound on Route A eight miles north of Trenton.
The pickup skidded and struck a deer. The driver lost control of the pickup. It traveled off the east side of the road and rolled.
Grundy County EMS transported a passenger Kyley R. Culbertson, 20, Trenton, to Hedrick Medical Center and she was to be transferred later to a Kansas City hospital, according to the MSHP.
Calton and Culbertson were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
