A 40-yer-old St. Joseph man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to sell it.
The Buchanan County Prosecutor’s Office reports District Judge Daniel Kellogg sentenced Simon Pohl after Pohl pleaded guilty. A St. Joseph police officer found Pohl passed out in his vehicle in the roadway in March of 2023. Pohl was taken to the hospital. His vehicle was searched.
Investigators discovered a third of a pound of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
