It is with much sorrow we share the passing of Sean Ogan on Friday, February 6, 2026, in Leavenworth, Kansas at the age of 53. Sean passed away peacefully in his home ending his battle with cancer.
Sean was born August 20, 1972, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to Jerry and Sue Ogan.He attended Leavenworth High School, graduating in the class of 1990. Post high school, Sean served in the United States Army and continued his education, earning an associate’s degree. He most recently worked for Hallmark Corporation as a press operator.
Sean had a passion for riding his motorcycle allowing him to ride throughout the United States, creating experiences he loved to share with stories, bringing laughter to those around him.
Sean is preceded in death by his mother, Sue Ogan. He is survived by his father, Jerry Ogan; sister, Stephanie Drake; nephews: Austin, Riley, Evan, and David; and niece, Kathleen.
The family wishes to thank the community of friends who surrounded Sean with comfort and friendship, assisting with caring for his end of life needs, and memorializing his life journey.
Keeping true to his nature, Sean has requested no formal services. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society in honor of Sean Ogan.
