Margaret I. (Speer) Hamilton, peacefully passed away on May 10, 2023. Born on September 28, 1926, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Albert and Julia (Cash) Speer.
Margaret spent most of her professional life at Wyeth Hardware Warehouse, dedicating 28 years of service.
She married the love of her life, James Leroy Hamilton, on January 4, 1945. Together, they shared an incredible 69 years of marriage before James's passing.
She was a devoted member of King Hill Methodist Church, later known as Wesley United Methodist Church.
Margaret found great joy in painting and crocheting. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping trips with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Albert and Julia Speer; brothers, Louis, Clarence, Leroy, Fred, Frank, and Carl Speer; and sisters, Edna McClanahan, Mary Ellen Ginter, Ruth Tuller, and Hattie Ortez.
Margaret's memory will continue to live on through the multiple generations of nieces and nephews who survive her.
Graveside Farewell Services & Interment 10:00 A.M. Monday, Memorial Park Cemetery. The procession will leave from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
