Man gives up after stand-off with St. Joseph police

A shots fired call led to a nearly two-hour standoff in the 1500 block of 13th Street, ending with a 28-year-old man giving up to St. Joseph police.

St. Joseph police report the shots fired call came from the area of 6200 Carnegie mid-afternoon Tuesday. Evidence of shots being fired were found at the scene. No one was harmed. Police then converged on the residence on 13th Street around four o’clock. The suspect locked himself in the house, giving up only after the Special Response Team arrived, nearly two hours later. 

The suspect is Dillon Shade. Charges are pending.

No one was harmed in the incident.
