ANDREW COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Friday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a.2013 Toyota Highlander driven by Stephen N. Dodge, 77, Albany, was southbound on U.S. 169 just north of Route D.
The driver attempted to pass a John Deere Combine and a tractor pulling grain cart. The driver saw an oncoming vehicle, merged back into the southbound lane and struck the rear of the combine driven by Dustin L. Lyle, 40, St. Joseph.
After impact, both vehicles spun, rolled over and came to rest in the road. Andrew County EMS transported Dodge to Mosaic Life Care. Lyle was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
