Christina Bartlow, 79, passed away on November 14, 2025. She was born on October 1, 1946, in Gunzberg, Germany, to Waleria and Stefan Szczepanik.
After graduating from Benton High School, Christina married Jim Lee Bartlow on May 14, 1971. Jim passed away last month, and his absence was deeply felt by Christina and the entire family.
Christina is survived by their three children: Merri Beth Means (Jeff), Jaime Cortez (Mike), and Charlie Bartlow; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. She is also survived by her sisters Ursula, Casey (Frank), Stefania, Irene (Rex), and Susie (Marvin); her brothers George (Karen), John (Connie), and Scott (Chrissy); brother-in-law Jerry Bartlow (Debbie) as well as extended family, nieces, and nephews.
A member of St. James Catholic Church, Christina valued her faith and her family above all else. She rarely missed an event involving her grandchildren and took genuine pride in their achievements.
Christina will be remembered for her steady presence and her commitment to the people she loved.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19, 2025 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. The Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service, all at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
