It looked like the Dekalb Tigers were going to have control of the game after a quick three play score from Devin Hall to Ryder Hawk for a 25-yard passing touchdown that led to a quick 6-0 lead but that did not slow down the run game from the St. Joseph Christain Lions 54-12 victory Friday night.
After Dekalb's first touchdown St. Joseph Christain quickly answered back in the first quarter by marching down the field with a 2-yard rushing touchdown from Cy Carlson that gave the Lions the lead 8-6 in the first quarter. That didn't stop Carlson night. He got his second touchdown of the night 2 minutes later in the first quarter from a 52-yard rushing touchdown. Carlson finished his night by leading St. Joseph Christian with four rushing touchdowns Friday night.
Not to be denied his own glory for St. Joseph Christian, Peyton Hausman finished the night with two rushing touchdowns of the night. Cy Carlson's brother Caedmon Carlson also got some action with a 23-yard rushing touchdown of his own late in the fourth quarter.
