HOLT COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Thursday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Kylie M. Holman, 43, Falls City, NE., was northbound on U.S. 159 four miles north of Fortescue.
The vehicle crossed the center line and struck the front left of a southbound 2016 Peterbilt semi driven by Jessie J. Knapp, 62, Craig.
After impact the Ford spun around and traveled off the road. The semi struck a MODOT sign.
Lifeflight transported Holman to Mosaic Life Care. A private vehicle transported a 12-year-old female passenger in the Ford to Mosaic. Knapp was not wearing a seat belt and not injured, according to the MSHP.
