Two Missouri women hospitalized after DeKalb County crash

DEKALB COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Tuesday in DeKalb  County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford Focus driven by Alexis D. Ratliff, 24, Cameron, was northbound on Route EE one mile north of Cameron.

The driver failed to yield to a southbound Chevy Tahoe driven by Vicky R. Helms, 64, Cameron, while make a left turn into a residential area. The Chevy struck the Ford.

A private vehicle transported Ratliff to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Cameron EMS transported Helms to Cameron Regional Regional Medical Center. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
